Favourites Dishes
With
so many wonderful dishes to choose from it is difficult to
choose only five favourites, but I have done our best in
selecting a variety of dishes for which we have include details
of each dish along with the ingredients and instructions to take
them home with you once your holiday is over.
I
have selected for all our guests my personal favourites which is
a must try during your stay in Myanmar.
Myanmar
food consists of a blend of mainly Chinese and Indian style of
cooking forming a rich and mild cuisine full of subtle blends of
contrasting flavours. The staple is naturally rice, often eaten
with chicken, mutton or shellfish curries; beef and pork being
less common due to religious considerations. However there are
an uncountable number of other dishes available, often differing
from region to region, including the famous Moat-hin-kar, a fish
soup with rice noodle, and Laphet, a tealeaf salad.
